Through my bedroom window I see this moon last night. I like to look out the window at night and sometimes I see things like skunks or something interesting.
The moon is interesting, it is one of the two greater lights, called the lesser light. It is a cool light as the light of the moon is cooler in its light than in its shade.
So no I don't believe that the moon is the reflection of sun. I believe the scriptures and the scripture say that the moon is a light, and it has its own light.
Just as the sun whose light is warmer in its light than in its shade. The sunlight and the moonlight act totally different from each other.
So even a reflection of the sunlight will produce light that is warmer in its light than in its shade. The same thing with the moonlight, even the reflection of the moonlight will produce a light that is cooler in its light than in its shade.
It is the world that would want you to doubt the scriptures. The best thing to do is to test what the world has been trying to teach us for all this time.
Like the earth is spinning at a thousand miles an hour at the equator. Then if that is true then we should be able to get a person to mark a mark on the ground and have that person stand on that mark, then to jump straight up and land on that mark again.
Now if the scriptures are right that the world is established that it shall not be moved, then the earth is not moved. As it is written, Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. Psalm 96:10. So it the scripture is right then the earth is not spinning a thousand miles an hour at the equator and the person who marks a mark on the ground, then steps on it and jumps straight up will land on his mark again.
Now it the scriptures are wrong and the earth is spinning at a thousand miles an hour or over fourteen hundred feet per second then the person at the equator who marks a mark on the ground, then stands on it, then jumps straight up in the air and as the earth is spinning more than fourteen hundred feet per second, then that person when he lands on the ground again will be far away from his mark. You see we can test the things that the world has been trying to teach us.
I choose to believe the scriptures.
Let's end with a scripture, And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: the stars also. Genesis 1:16.
