DO YOU THINK CHOOSING WEALTH OVER YOUR FREEDOM IS WORTH IT?
Hello everyone, happy new week and welcome to my blog.
If I were asked to choose between wealth and freedom, I would choose wealth.
I believe everybody loves money. I personally love money not because I want to compete with anyone but because of the opportunities it gives me access to.

The type of wealth I want, I don't necessarily have to be a billionaire.
I want to be wealthy, so that I won't have to break down when an emergency arises. I want to have enough resources to meet up with my needs, get a good education, support my family and people who depend on me.
I'm not disputing the fact that freedom is an entire sweetness on its own.
Because sometimes I just wish my activities can be done without lifting a finger but if only wishes were horses. Nobody wanted to be trapped with work their entire life, working so hard to meet up with needs.
But financial stability is also very important.
What is the benefit of being free with financial insecurities? For some of us who love food a lot…
I know everybody loves food haha 😂 but, I mean the foodies, how enjoyable can life be when there is no means of providing food.
Every decision has to be made carefully because of financial hardship.
I know people often talk about the danger that comes with making money.
How does who chases after money end up forgetting families, sudden death, sadness etc.
And I honestly understand the worry. Because they are a reminder that there are limits to what money can do in one's life.
But I'm gonna put that aside, let's talk about its main purpose.
The first thing that comes to our mind when we hear freedom is peace.
Yeah! There is lots of fun that comes with freedom.
Like waking up whenever you want,
Doing what you like, hobbies, no boss to tell you what to do, no office file piled up waiting for you. It all sounds good and fun right?
But will it still feel enjoyable when the price of food goes up, house rent, bills upon bills everyday will suddenly become less enjoyable.
I know having enough money cannot prevent difficulties or free us from illness but it helps us manage it.
My dad will say, in our world today, ideas without money are a waste.
When a wise man talks without money people look with disgust.
Even the people we call our friends, some of them are in our lives because of what they stand to gain from us.
Now imagine someone with a good business idea but can't afford materials or have access to potential clients. It will take a long time to bring ideas to reality. But with capital it becomes easier to invest in skills and develop their business ideas.
There is also a satisfaction that comes with being able to help people in need, contributing positively to people's lives.
I want to be in that position that's why I choose wealth.
I don't see wealth as a trap, away from freedom. A person can build a reliable source of income, invest wisely to some stage and would no longer need to work like they used to either by retiring early or reducing the workload. It means wealth can be used to purchase freedom too.
Though I know it's not applicable to everyone. Some people just accumulate money and they still want more.
Wealth is a tool that creates options but it also depends on how you choose to use it.
If I become wealthy, I will invest, plan, and learn to manage responsibly. And also ensure to have control over my time.
Working endlessly with a plan and working with a purpose are two different things.
I won't allow my wealth be the only source of my happiness because I would want to remain myself.
Appreciate life, value friendship, and relationship. Because I know the real purpose of money.
Thank you for stopping by.
Bye for now.
