‎Life is sweet when you're with the people you love, when you have the freedom to be with them at whatever time you want. When you spend time with them— laugh, cry, reflect, celebrate, create, and the rest. But doing all these without money is kind of hard. They're will be times where you just want to show them how much you love them with "material things" but if you do not have the resources, trust me, you are going to feel like you're a joke. (this is not about a particular gender, I'll be referring to both genders in the course of this writing).
‎
‎ Let's be sincere, I know everyone would want to choose freedom; the simple life, I'm also tempted to, but you can't be okay if you cannot take good care of the people you truly care about. They need good food, good shelter in a good environment, they need education, and oh, you don't want to see their dreams being buried just because you couldn't help birth them as a result of financial constraints. You want to see them smile, you want them lit up when you get them something they need in order to achieve their life's goals.
‎
‎How would you feel as a father or a mother that your children come to you to ask for something, and you can't provide for them. Or, someone you truly love is struggling financially, they need help and you can't help because all you do is just want to spend time with them, or you really want to get them something on their special day but you can't get the exact thing you want because you don't have the money, won't you feel sad? Won't you feel like you've failed? For me, it would break me. And this not about impressing anyone. It's the fact that when you genuinely care about people or someone, you would want to gift them, it's a natural desire.
‎
‎‎So, I will choose wealth, and choosing wealth does not mean I'm denouncing freedom or peace, even the bible has stated that there is time for everything. So, there will be times when you will be busy trying to pursue your dreams, building the kind of life you want, achieving your goals, in order to live a better life. Wealth and peace can co-exist. There will be a point where you get to in life that you no longer need to work or chase money, it's money that will be coming to you because you spent your building years to actually build. And there will be a time where you now rest and what you build keeps giving you the kind of life you want.
‎
‎Being wealthy is not synonymous with being in bondage, no one runs their life for 24hrs without resting or making time out for their loved ones. I understand that chasing money and owning many businesses can be exhausting, but you can be wealthy to the extent where you have the freedom to enjoy and spend all the time you want with the people you love. Do you know how devastating it can be for you as a grown adult if you cannot take care of your parents when the time comes? What about your younger ones who look up to you?
‎
‎Don't get me wrong, I love spending time with my loved ones, family but what's really essence if I can't support them financially? We can laugh, play, be together for as long as we want, but what if life happens, and there is an urgent need for money? Will the time I spend with them provide the money? Will I be able to make them happy? Let's not lie to ourselves, we need money to go through this life, and the kind of money I'm talking about is the type that you won't need to overthink every penny you spend especially when it's for a good course.

‎‎What about myself, am I truly happy that I can't afford the things I want or need in life, am I happy that the life I want or the things I would have loved to do are withheld because resources aren't forth coming. Am I truly happy?😔
‎What if wealth is the freedom I need, what if wealth is the peace I need? Do I have peace as a struggling young person, do I spend my night having a peaceful sleep or a wandering thought as to how to be successful and live better? Is there really true happiness in suffering?
‎
‎Let me add that, if I'm with someone today, and he says he always has a busy schedule, because he's trying to build and be successful in life, and I know that he's actually chasing his dreams and trying to achieve his life's goals. And that he is not using that as an excuse to cheat, I don't mind. Of course, he's going to rest at some point, he's going to want to eat, he will spare 5 to 10 minutes for us to talk everyday?. I'm okay Please get busy, baby, no be love we go chop o😂. I Would also be trying to build my own life so that the love will get sweeter. Because what's the essence of of spending all the time together when we don't have money, what are we actually enjoying?🤣. Ah, nooo, I'm not in support.
‎
‎Also, If I have to be away from family for some time in order to be successful, I would gladly take the opportunity, than spending all the time with them without having anything to show forth.
‎
‎ Nevertheless, this is my submission, Wealth is good, money is important. But the way you go about it, use it, or your view; how you see wealth, will determine the outcome— freedom, peace or bondage.
‎
‎PS: this is not me being materialistic, I just want to be able to take care of the people that matter to me. I just want to enjoy all the happiness that money brings, in a legit way of course.
