I am ready for the cooler days of fall. Well, of course, cause of where I live there have been a lot of triple digit heat. Also I don't like to put on the air conditioner in the house as it drinks a lot of energy that I have to pay for.

So I do use a lot of fans, well, fans use a lot less energy than an air conditioner, cause of the air conditioner's compressor.

So how to cool off the body when it is really hot? Sometimes I like to put my hands in a bowl of cold water. Even better is to get some cold water into a bucket and then put one's own feet in that bucket of cold water.

So how does it work? Well by cooling off one or two parts of the body the part of the body that is in the cold water will cool off, but you see the blood does not just stop at the hand, or feet in the cold water, no the blood keeps pumping through the body to complete its circuit to meet at the heart and lungs again.

So the blood is being cooled off by the cold water, cooling the blood that moves through like water through a radiator in a car, cools off the hot engine.

Of course we do need the hot heat. It is what causes my fig tree to have ripened figs. I do remember some cool summers where my fig tree didn't do as good as it could have done.

I do own an 89 Nissan Sentra that doesn't run well in the hot summer heat. Well cause there is just one fan of the two fans at my radiator that work and it only works when the air conditioner is on. So even in the winter do I keep the air conditioner on to keep a fan at the radiator to keep spinning, but in the summer time of hot heat, my 89 Nissan Sentra would be heating up more than normal as it runs.

But what is the sun anyway? It is one of the two great lights. The sun is known as the greater light and the moon is known as the lesser light. It is the light of the sun that has light that is warmer in its light than in its shade, now the moon has light that is warmer in its shade than in its light. Believe it or not, but such a thing can be measured.

So the light of the sun makes me hot and sweaty, but soon the fall will be here and I will experience the cool of the day, God willing that is.

Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: the stars also. Genesis 1:16.
