In light of the heatwaves in Europe, I've been revisiting some of my fans that had otherwise been stuffed away in storage. Ironically my best and most effective fans and cooling devices are actually currently inaccessible by me, stored away somewhere I currently have no access to, but at least I have these ones I'm going to be posting here.

This one is a kind of air conditioner. It combines a fun function with a mist maker function. The idea is to produce a cool mist to further lower the temperature of the air being blown by the fan. Already, faster moving air has a cooling effect on our skin, but when the air carries a mist, the effect is even better. The life hack part is putting ice cubes into the tank, or at least freezing-cold water, so the mist itself is a very cool one.

I currently have this on my desk to keep me nice and cool. I don't actually mind the heat, but my work area is particularly warm since I have machines and lights that generate heat. It's been a much welcome little gadget. It's just as well that it works via USB-C.
