Well, Halloween is past and some of the candies for that holiday did not sell, so the candy is on sale.
I don't buy much candy for myself, except for the bakers chocolate chips that I use to make hot chocolate and I also mix in a spoonful of 100 percent cocoa powder. A rich cup of hot chocolate for the cold days to come. One good thing about hot chocolate is the magnesium. Magnesium to help reduce tiredness and fatigue, so I read, that is
I try to stay away from candy in general, except for the holidays. That is the time when people give away candies and cookies. Well, if someone is going to give me some candies and cookies, I well probably eat it all. That is why I always gain weight during the holidays season.
Well, at least I didn't buy the candies and cookies for myself. One thing I have to remember is that sugar turns to fat. Also that anything made with flour will turn to sugar in the body and thus it will later be turned into fat. No wonder why in the Keto diet do they tell you to stay away from sugar and flour products.
So if one wants to lose weight, staying away from sugar and flour products would be a good idea.
While I am talking about losing weight, I might as well talk about soda. There is a lot of sugar involved in the making of soda. As a kid I really liked root beer soda, but as a kid I could burn such sugars away with riding my bike and my walking home from school, they didn't have buses for my particular grade school. Maybe that was a good thing. When my parents moved to another city, then we did have school buses.
When I go to the store, I sometimes look at the cart ahead of me, and then I notice the amount of soda that they bought. I don't buy soda for myself, but will drink it at family get togethers and birthdays.
In other words I don't drink the stuff everyday, more like every once in awhile.
I do have a gravity water filter and I think the water that comes out of that filter tastes really well. Of course good clean water is a lot better and healthier than sugar water with chemicals.
So the candy is on sale. Did I buy some of that candy for myself? No, I resisted temptation and walked away from the candy, this time.
