Hello, my name is Dani, for privacy matters I choose not to post my full name but I will say that I am going to be discussing some very serious topic matter through this blog and would like to use this as a disclaimer to let viewers know that some topics may not be for the faint at heart. I will be discussing my battles with mental health. I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety and Panic Disorder at the age of 19 after attempting to end my own life. I am now 20 (almost 21) and was recently diagnosed with ADHD. On top of battling my mental health, I am also a full-time, 2nd year university student, and have 2 part-time jobs because my parents refused to sign my student loans so I am forced to pay half my tuition out of my pocket and for living expenses. So as you can imagine, my battles with mental health are no where near over and no where near becoming any less difficult.

After I received my diagnosis i had a lot of clarification about my actions to situations in life and Ive been dealing with a team of counsellors and a psychiatrist and will soon be starting Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
