This has got to be one of my favorite side dishes to go with rice or even eat it on it's own as a snack. It's fried cauliflower also known as fried gobi at most Indian cuisine restaurants.

This one is at a nearby restaurant around the neighbourhood and it's truly one of the best there is. The only sad thing is that they don't do this on a regular basis and basically whenever they do have cauliflower in their stock which is not often. So whenever they have it, I'll definitely get it cause you never know when is the next time you're even gonna see it let alone taste it.

I am inspired to have this on my menu too however I'm sure like all things delicious, it won't be perfect or they way it's suppose to be on the first try.

It seems fairly simple and the ingredients is just a handful so it isn't so complex to figure out. The batter however has got to be perfect and I'm guessing there is some corn flour in the mix as it comes out a little like those Japanese tempura vegetables.

It has more spices in the batter though compared to a plain tempura batter so the ratio of those spices would be key to having it perfectly balanced in flavor and overall taste.

I'll try it out soon and introduce it on my food truck's menu too. Hopefully the first try itself would be good enough to serve and I'm quite confident I'll be able to pull it off. The prep however is gonna be tidious but oh well.... the end product is worth it :D
