Mum cooked some fried rice last Sunday evening for dinner. We had leftover rice in the fridge and some other little food scraps from earlier in the week in the fridge that were still good for consumption. She's good whipping up these into a nice egg fried rice.

Simply fry some garlic with oil then toss in some minced pork and fry till golden brown. Next, the rice is added together with some chopped up vegetables (whatever you have in your fridge will do fine).

Then she added is the seasonings of soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and white pepper. After stir frying for. Couple of minutes, add in beaten eggs and continue frying on high heat. Taste and adjust the seasonings again accordingly and you're done and ready to serve.

I heated up some 'sambal' to have with my fried rice. My friend's mum made this and it had chilies, onions, dried shrimp, and dried shrimp paste (belacan). Funky smelling and spicy but super delicious with the fried rice.
