Ignorance is cheap in acts but costly at its end reaction. As you advance in life, you get to know the reason to TRY avoiding being casual. Your tone, your actions and reactions, your dress code, where you choose to associate yourself. In short, detailing becomes very important because every mistake can be a punishable sorry. I was listening to a sermon where the preacher said even sorry has consequences.
Ok, I am not saying you should become unmannered in ways you approach situations where you are at fault. NO, but strive to do the needful rather than stay in apologies. The fact is, if your life remains in the latter, the price you will pay is that people will not take you seriously.
Maybe we should cite an example here; two staff members A and B. A is very serious about his work role making sure things are delivered to perfection and timing. Let's say he has a bad manner when it comes to easily apologizing. B is an opposite of A. Whenever a duty is given to him, expect 70% chance of setbacks, flaws, mismanagement or damages and well, he is 100% good at saying I am sorry.

Among these two, which will you hand over a serious project to handle? Of course Mr. A. So why not compensate yourself with the more mannered Mr. B? There are rules, there are principles. I like this quote from Fred C. Trump says, ‘get in, get it done, get it done well, get out’. note the word; ‘get it done well’. You can consider the cost in case anything goes wrong. ‘I am sorry’ has little or nothing entirely to resolve here.
If you want to grow, step up, no one is ready to tolerate your mistakes over and over again. I am not saying mistakes don't come but make sure it is not a habit. It is something I have to carefully address even in myself. Even with our work with God, we have to be very careful not to align our mind so much on rash living and continue to depend on grace. Apostle Paul said; ‘shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?’. That's a really deep question; God expects us to step up. You can not remain a child forever unless you are not ready to inherit something tangible.
To conclude, let me add, maybe I will just call this a preamble of a much bigger article to come. Greatness is tied to finding the necessary rules and regulations and binding yourself to it. What are the rules of spirituality, what are the rules for financial freedom, what are the rules for first class in academics. “If it will cost you nothing, then you are running a commoner's race”---dani-EL. This is why I love writing, it gives me inspirations and quotes I was researching for.
This is an article covered by dani-EL; a broad niche writer. I write on faith, life facts and daily living, business and economics, small scale and daily businessing, cryptocurrency and technology. And yes, I do cover articles on financial education and investment updates. And note, if I happen to be a financial adviser to you, the TOP financial advice should be ‘DYOR’ (Do Your Own Research), I can't afford to break your heart
