My first take home here is; know how you treat people, when you lose their attention, it gets very much difficult to win them back. Well, it can be something to also attribute to this platform and some performances which has caused some to use the exit door.
The question of will the Hive ecosystem bounce back to that one time online environment where there were numerous interactions daily? Ok, let me leave that for you to decide.
I have had to do some activity reshuffling from September 1st. That is why I said, attention has changed direction to more important things. I guess that's what screening is meant to achieve. I already had a planned three day conference to attend from the 6th to the 8th of this month. Today will be that grand finale and I have already been touched.
It is always a big privilege to be around where people are gathered in the name of The Lord. Ok, some just come to enjoy the sounds, the lighting, good setting and to fix their eyes on popular guest ministers. As for me, to start with, I celebrate God's grace upon their lives but I came hungry for an encounter. ‘In the presence of God, there is room for another level’---dani-EL.
It is more like being in the midst of wise men and all that fascinates you is their dressing and appearances. How can you extract value from them? This should be your first concern. These are men who have had such opportunities to interact with The divine in a much greater measure than you; strife to get a mantle from them.
Not all see it from my lenses I guess. Some youths were just there putting hands in their pockets and maybe to them getting entertained (as for me, anything concerning worship is not entertainment). Yes, we are downloading and connecting with heaven. In such an atmosphere, The Holy Spirit is on the move to feed those desperate for Him.
Day1 ended in a success to God's glory. Lives were imparted through the message and the ending worship session that even extended the stay an extra hour. No one saw it coming and that is God for you.
The Holy Ghost dropped the spirit of prayer in the congregation that while others had already left because it was getting late into the night, the ones left behind were praying non-stop; I mean, even when the instruments halted for a while, you could hear the outcry of men to the roof of the building. I came back late but satisfied.
Day2 was also to God's glory. General overseer was ministering the gospel and I learned a lot from his teaching ministry. The worship sessions were also very imparting.
To conclude, let me add, day3 is today and I am planning to attend much earlier. Yesterday I had to sit at the back and well, a time came when we were not able to hear the ministrations audible enough. Let's start planning very early, it has hindered some of my routines for the week already.
Nevertheless, there is nothing to regret; there is a price for growth and we have to push for it every single opportunity we are presented with. No matter what you claim to achieve, please don't lose God.
