After clearing out the remaining guards with brutal finishers, I let Soma charge Wigmund before I officially confirmed the kill. Following a tense memory corridor encounter with Wigmund and Odin, I repelled a surprise attacker, sounded my horn to launch a raid, and forced open a massive supply chest with a crewmate's help.
So before going for Wigmund, I decided to take down all other Saxon soldiers around so they won't be a problem when I'll go for Wigmund next. And yeah, I tried every brutality possible, slamming my axes down with crushing force to completely clear the room.
And when I was done with those Saxon soldiers, I noticed Soma was charging on Wigmund, so I just let her do it. And when she was done, I had to confirm the kill.
Then both Eivor and Wigmund were shown in the memory corridor, where Wigmund was still commanding others to die for him, mentioning their lives means nothing.
Then I noticed Eivor was not the only one against Wigmund there, as Odin also joined him in the memory corridor. And after giving a little speech, Eivor let Wigmund leave this realm for good.
As Eivor was watching on something that he found on Wigmund, Odin left him quietly, confirming the work there was done.
Right when I came out of the memory corridor, I noticed a Saxon soldier was charging on us, and he even attacked me before I could do it. And then I just took him down, instantly parrying his desperate blade and putting an end to his counter-attack.
I found this big box that I needed to open up because I'd have some good supplies there that I'd need to build our home, but I needed a helper. Well, Soma was not helping at all, standing idly by the altar while I strained against the heavy metal lid.
So I blew my horn to call for a raid so I'd get my clan people help me with this. I unleashed a booming note that echoed across the entire monastery hill to signal my longship crew.
As I blew the horn, some Saxon soldiers came to attack us, so I took them down, and then I went for that box once more where I found one of my clan member close, and he helped me retrieving it, leaning our weight together to move the heavy iron lid.
