In the last post, you saw me trying hard to unlock the Charm of Nekoma’s Hunt. Since I didn't quite know how to complete the mission, I couldn't unlock it back then. So, today I’ve returned to Cats Pride. This time, I simply have to unlock that Charm, no matter what.
First, you have to go there and establish a musical connection with the cats. You need to position the green ball visible on the screen between the two voice flows in front of you. If positioned correctly, the cats gradually start moving towards you. Once the entire 'Flow' is completed successfully, the cat becomes your pet, and that is when the 'Charm of Nekoma’s Hunt' is unlocked.
This charm is actually very useful because it allows you to throw an extra kunai after performing a Chain Assassination. Previously, a Chain Assassination sequence would end after taking out a few enemies, but now you can eliminate one more target with that extra kunai. That is why this charm was essential for me.
After unlocking the charm, I noticed a lot of cats walking around me. I really love cats, so I spent some time petting them. I have a cat in real life too, so whenever I see cats in the game, I like to take a moment for them.
Moving forward, I encountered a Mongol patrol. I immediately blew one of them up with an explosive arrow and then engaged the remaining soldiers in combat. There was a Shaman with them, too. When he started singing, the Mongol soldiers seemed to become much more powerful, they would dodge or parry my attacks and even use 'Unstoppable Attacks' more frequently. That’s why the fight becomes much harder when a Shaman is present.
However, a few rabels arrived and joined me. They attacked the Shaman, preventing him from continuing his song. The soldiers lost that extra power, and I easily defeated them all.
I learned another new technique today as well. If you use the Moon Stance to kick a spear-wielding soldier, he drops his weapon, making it much easier to take him down. It seems like this technique will come in very handy for me in the future.
