After his formal initiation into the Don's family, Enzo celebrated with four crates of wine alongside Cesare, Luca, and Leo. Driving a car drunk to a brothel in San Celeste, Enzo refused the ladies inside out of loyalty to the girl in his life, and eventually drove away alone.
The cutscene continued outside, where they walked out all by themselves. Luca asked Enzo about his part of the family, mentioning that when they found him in the barn, he was only skin and bones, yet even then, he saw a fire in him.
He warned Enzo that from now on, he had to be even smarter because their thing was his life now. Luca said he was proud of him, and Enzo thanked him.
Luca went back inside the warehouse, and Enzo caught sight of Isabella on the roof of the villa, looking down with a sad face before walking away.
To celebrate Enzo's joining, four crates of wine were finished off. Luca eventually called it a night, saying that was enough for him. Cesare mentioned they were heading into town, but Luca just noted that Cesare would understand once he had a wife and children.
One of the guys asked Luca if any girl would ever take Cesare, and Luca joked that if he was lucky, he'd find death or something worse.
Cesare fainted right out of his chair while trying to take another sip. I tried to catch him, and he told Enzo it was a celebration, asking him to lose the sad look on his face.
Cesare asked me to follow him, telling us to bring the music along. Leo grabbed the phonograph to carry with us. I kept following Cesare without really knowing where we were headed.
We walked out of the villa toward a car. Cesare sat down inside and told me to get in, while Leo tossed the phonograph into the back seat.
I climbed into the driver's seat, and Leo hopped into the back as well. My task was to drive to San Celeste without straining the car's engine.
Driving while heavily intoxicated was a challenge as the road swayed ahead of me. Cesare shouted that I could do whatever I wanted now that I was part of the Don's family, bragging that he would be the boss of the crew one day.
As I drove through the night with the loud phonograph music playing, a local villager shouted out to ask if we knew what time it was.
While crossing a massive bridge on the way to San Celeste, Cesare asked me to pull over so he could take a piss.
I stopped the car right there. He climbed up onto a high point on the bridge railing, and I watched closely, hoping he wouldn't lose his balance and fall off in his drunken state. Looking out over the drop, Cesare declared that the whole valley was ours as far as the eye could see.
Enzo told him all he saw was an idiot pissing in the wind and ordered him to get back down in the car. I half-expected him to fall to his death, but he managed to climb back down safely.
I resumed driving toward San Celeste. Cesare said the time would come when it would just be him and me, loyal friends, men of honor, with me acting as his right hand.
Leo chimed in from the back to ask about his role, and Cesare laughed, telling Leo he could be his butler.
We kept driving while Cesare and Leo sang drunken Italian songs at the top of their lungs about wanting wine and women.
We reached San Celeste late at night, with the entire town appearing fast asleep. My objective was to pull into the brothel courtyard. I drove right into the courtyard, triggering a cinematic scene.
A lady named Rosaria welcomed the group, clearly knowing Cesare well.
Leo told Enzo to follow him inside, but Enzo stopped at the entrance, telling him he couldn't do it. Leo pointed out the women inside, but Enzo explained that there was already a girl in his life, so he didn't want to participate.
Leo reminded Enzo of the code of silence before walking off with one of the women. With both Cesare and Leo heading upstairs with their respective ladies, Enzo turned around, got back into the car, and drove away alone into the night.
To be continued.
