Basim finally started his training with a real sword. The training with Roshan was about some important fighting skills. Roshan taught Basim about Light Attack, Heavy Attack, Parry, and Dodge. The Light Attack is good against soldiers who only have a sword. The Heavy Attack is useful against soldiers who have a shield. You can use the Heavy Attack to break their shields.
You can also Parry an enemy attack. When you does a Parry at the right time, the enemy becomes open for a short time. This gives you a chance to attack. But some attacks cannot be Parried. You have to dodge those attacks.
After teaching all these skills, Roshan had a real fight with Basim. Basim did well in the fight. He was dodging Roshan's attacks and also doing Parry and Counter Attacks. But suddenly, Roshan gave Basim a very strong hit, and Basim fell to the ground. She told him to think about today's lesson and practice these skills properly.
Later, we see a night scene. Basim and some other Hidden Ones were sitting around a fire and talking. One of them was Ahmed. He was going to Baghdad that day. He was going to join the House of Wisdom as a scholar.
They also talked about The Feather. They said that if someone commits a crime, it is the duty of the Hidden Ones to stop them. But judging that person is not the duty of the Hidden Ones.
While they were talking, Nur came there. She said that she needed someone to help with a patrol. Basim agreed to help him and left with Nur. they met two more guards. Then the four of them split into two groups. Basim and Nur went together while the other two went in another direction.
Basim and Nur reached their guard position. Nur’s eagle came there. Suddenly, the eagle flew toward something. Nur understood that there was someone there. It looked like some invaders had come to attack. They used a zipline to move to another vintage point. From there, they saw some people standing below. They were strangers.
Basim and Nur decided to take them down quietly. Basim knocked out one person from one side, while Nur knocked out another person from the other side. They continued doing this and moved inside.
They had to fight the enemies face to face with their swords. It was a really good sword fight, but I made many mistakes during the fight. Basim took quite a lot of damage. I started using his Heavy Attack. One by one, I took down all the soldiers.
After the fight, they checked the dead bodies. From the swords, Basim understood that these were mercenaries from Baghdad. They used this type of sword. This was something important, and they needed to report it.
