Infiltrating the Mongol camp like an assassin, I climbed a tent to fire-arrow a cook and air-assassinate his partner. After accidentally whistling for my horse Nobu, I rapidly executed incoming guards before they could sound the horn, allowing me to safely free all captured falcons from their cages.
Taking to the high ground overlooking the camp, I surveyed the area like a silent assassin rather than a honor-bound samurai. The outpost was crawling with Mongol soldiers, and my primary location objective required me to locate and release two captured falcons held inside their perimeter.
Realizing a head-on assault would quickly get overwhelming, I carefully plotted a path through the main entrance, slipping past their front guards under the cover of silence
Moving deeper into the encampment, I spotted a pair of Mongols gathered near a campfire, cooking food directly beside a hanging wooden cage holding the first falcon. Seeking a vantage point, I scaled the side of a nearby tent, perching on the fabric roof to execute a stealthy double-kill strategy.
Aiming my bow, I shot a fire arrow into the cook, setting him ablaze, before leaping off the roof to land a heavy air assassination on his partner.
A third guard nearby caught a glimpse of the commotion, but he grew confused, causing him to shrug off the disturbance and return to his post.
Seeing that the remaining guard refused to move, I began creeping closer to eliminate him from the shadows. Mid-approach, I opened photo mode to check my angles and accidentally hit the whistle button, calling my horse Nobu right to the edge of the camp.
The loud whistle alerted several nearby Mongols, who immediately broke formation to investigate the noise. Acting fast before any of them could raise a war horn to alert the entire base, I rushed out of cover and executed them one by one in rapid succession
I took them all down before they could land a single blow or call for backup. Blaming Nobu for ruining my initial stealth run, I cleared the immediate area, walked over to the first cage, and unlatched the door to free the first falcon.
With half the objective complete, I navigated toward the far side of the camp where the Mongols that died a moment ago, was roasting a whole boar over a campfire.
Reaching the second cage resting beside the cooking pit, I unlocked the wooden door and set the second falcon free into the open sky.
