I targeted Camp Agrophylake to eliminate its captain and claim the treasure. Using Senu for reconnaissance, I stealthily eliminated guards, hid a body, and assassinated the captain. After setting a trap and defeating the remaining guard, I looted the chest, freed a captive, and earned experience points.
I decided to take care of some enemy camps to clear the local garrison. My next target became Camp Agrophylake, where I needed to kill the captain and loot a treasure to complete the location.
Before moving in, I called Senu to scout the camp from above. Through Senu's vision, I examined the layout. It looked like a small camp with very few enemies patrolling the grounds. I also spotted a captive held inside a cage. I did not see any braziers around initially, which meant calling for reinforcements was not an option.
I decided to take care of the entire camp using stealth. I crept forward and hid inside a haystack first to plan my initial strike against the guards. I spotted the captain, who was a big brute, patrolling around the center of the camp.
While I could have assassinated the nearest guard right away, two other soldiers were standing close by and would have noticed it immediately. I chose to wait patiently for those two enemies to move off to another location before making my move.
When the timing was right, it presented the perfect opportunity to assassinate the target since there were no other enemies close by.
I took him down silently, but I knew I should hide the body to keep the remaining guards unaware. I picked up the corpse and placed it inside that haystack so no one else would notice it.
Shortly after, it looked like I could assassinate the captain easily as well, so I took the opportunity and eliminated him right away. I then used poison on the captain's body in case it proved helpful later.
Next, I tracked an enemy climbing on top of a wooden tower. I followed him, reached his position, and assassinated him swiftly before he had any chance to react. I left his body right there on top of the tower where it would remain completely unseen.
From this high point, I could see there were only a couple of enemies left around the camp grounds. I stayed on top of the tower, waiting for another perfect opportunity to take care of them.
I moved down from the tower to hunt the rest of the guards. One enemy almost saw me while I was crouching toward him, but I hid behind cover at the exact right moment. Once his suspicion cleared, I assassinated him without making any noise.
Another soldier became my next target, whom I also assassinated quietly. At that point, I noticed one last enemy standing right beside a brazier that I had not noticed during my earlier check.
I planned to give him a brutal death, so I did not assassinate him right away and waited for him to move.
Since he was not moving, I stepped out and whistled to distract him toward my side. As he searched for the noise, I set a trap on the brazier as part of my plan.
I allowed him to spot me, and when he tried to get a clear shot, I climbed up the tower.
He followed me up, so I jumped off. I tried to lure him toward the brazier, but he did not try to light it. I shot him with a fire arrow, executed a leap attack, and finished him off by slitting his throat.
With every guard eliminated, I looted the treasure chest inside the tent to complete the location objective, and earned four hundred experience points.
Before leaving the camp, I rescued the captive prisoners from their cage as well. They were glad for my help, and the rescue granted me additional experience points.
I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.
