I decided to try a contract where I needed to assassinate a corrupt official who planned to visit the Damascus Gate prison. The plan required the area cleared so our own man could take his place, which would help our cause.
After accepting the task, I first traveled to the point of interest close to the Damascus Prison Gate and performed my legendary leap of faith from that high position.
It looked absolutely cool, and I noticed the graphics looked even better now for some reason, I just loved this game and its aesthetic vibes.
Once I landed on the lower ground, it was time to get to the prison gate. The contact brief stated the prisoners could help and assist me during this job, so I started looking for a way to get inside first.
When I didn't find anyone immediately who could help me get inside, I decided to enter through the long paths I had used before.
To find an alternative route, I checked around while keeping a safe distance from the main prison gate so no guards would spot and attack me on sight.
I figured out which way I should try to infiltrate, and soon I was inside the restricted area already. I started climbing to the roof of the prison gate, where I noticed a handful of guards patrolling the perimeter.
So this guard became my first target of the location. I already had an idea of how I wanted to take him down, so I hid inside a changing room while the guard walked to the other side to do his duty, waiting for him to come back.
I also noted that freeing the prisoners was part of the side contract request, so I planned to do that as well.
When the guard returned, I stepped out of the shadow, assassinated him quietly, and hid his body inside, leaving only his weapons outside.
There were more guards around, so I whistled to get the attention of the next guard. When he came closer, I assassinated him and hid his body just like his comrade.
Another guard was standing right nearby, so I whistled once more to lure him into my trap. He took the bait, and right when he walked close enough, I assassinated him and hid his body too.
Finally, I noticed a guard sharpening a stone or working with a knife, so I positioned myself right above him and executed a quiet air assassination.
