Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog.
I had killed all the soldiers on the ships, but the Mongolians were still firing weapons toward the seaside. I realized that there was a high hill nearby where the Mongolian soldiers had set up their camps. There were two camps on the hill. One camp was firing cannonballs, while the other was shooting flaming arrows. If I wanted to save my Raider friends near the seaside, I had to destroy both camps.
I started looking for a way into the camps. Since the first camp was firing cannonballs, I decided to destroy it first. I climbed up the hill and reached the camp. As soon as I arrived, the soldiers stopped firing cannonballs and started attacking me. There was also a Shaman sitting nearby. His mysterious powers made the Mongolian soldiers even stronger.
In my previous fights, most enemies couldn't parry my attacks. But these Mongolian soldiers were different. Even if they failed to parry my first attack, they could easily parry my second one. That made fighting them much more difficult. Their attacks were also very hard to parry. They almost killed me, and I fell to the ground. Luckily, I managed to use my Resolve to restore my health and get back into the fight.
But again, I made the same mistake. I forgot to use my Ghost Weapons. Honestly, I just don't remember to use them during fights! I continued fighting and eventually destroyed the first camp by killing all the soldiers there. I moved toward the second camp. When I arrived, I noticed that the soldiers were standing in three separate groups, with two soldiers in each group. I got an idea. I could easily kill all of them using Chain Assassination.
I approached the first group. The Chain Assassination option appeared, and I used it to kill both soldiers. The other two groups still had no idea that I had already taken out those enemies. Then, I moved toward the second and the third group and killed both soldiers using Chain Assassination. I never expected the second camp to be this easy to clear.
The path was finally clear. Tenzo and the other Raiders arrived and boarded the food supply boats. Jin had done so much for them as a samurai, but Tenzo was still making fun of the samurai. Jin remained silent because he knew that working together sometimes meant putting up with comments like these. Jin, Tenzo, and the other Raiders set off toward the Mongolian warships using the captured food supply boats.
How we fought the Mongolians and destroyed their warships is something we'll see in the next episode!
