Spinach Lasagna Roll-Up Recipe
Hello steemit community, here is a recipe that is not only budget friendly , easy to make , but it is very healthy for you. I have been trying to make recipes that taste great with spinach so my kids will eat healthier. Spinach is a great health food that is very beneficial to the body. It is loaded with vitamin A, C, E, K and thiamin, vitamin B6, folate, calcium, iron, and magnesium. There is so many vitamins in spinach.
Ingredients
- 12 uncooked lasagna noodles
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach , thawed and squeezed
- 3 cups of Italian blend cheese or ( 3 cups mozzarella ) 2 cups of ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4
- 1.4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1.4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 jar ( 24 ounces) meatless pasta sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook and drain noodles according to the directions on the package. Pour 1 cup pasta sauce into a ungreased 13x9 baking dish. Then in the meantime, Slightly beat eggs, mix in 1 cup of cheese, 1 cup of the ricotta cheese ,spinach (drained and thawed), salt, and pepper.
