This Nacho Salad I'm going to share with you will certainly hit it big time with your friends, and family. It's quite a simple, but tedious recipe that you can do for an hour or less. It's best served with cold drinks or over a bottle of beer.

Here are the ingredients:
Tortilla Chips/Nachos
White onion chopped
Tomatoes diced
Cabbage julienne

For the Toppings:
Chopped garlic
Ground beef
Salt
Pepper

So let's start with the toppings first, all you need to do is simply put your ground beef in a pan, preferably non-stick pan. I don't like to use oil in frying or sauteing beef as it will produce it's own oil. Saute it until golden brown then add your chopped garlic, salt and pepper to taste.

Now let's do the sauce. I have three sauces topped in this nacho salad. Let's start with the red sauce.

All you need to do is saute some garlic and onions, add a small pack of tomato paste, then put at least 3/4 cups of water until the paste turns into sauce. Add some salt, pepper and little sugar to taste. If you like a little bit of a kick, you can put one green chilli julienned. Let it simmer until it becomes thick.

Next is our cheese sauce. I only use a generic and affordable cheese for this one, but you can use any cheese you like. In a pan, put 1 to 2 cups of milk. I normally use evaporated milk as it is tastier than fresh milk or other milk in boxes. Add your chosen cheese, make sure you sliced or cut it into smaller pieces. Stir it constantly and continuously helping the cheese to melt, unless you use a quick melt. The milk will depend on the amount of cheese you have so it is important that you have extra milk in handy. Just let all the cheese melt in the milk. For a tastier sauce you can add cheese spread but this is optional.

Now it's time to plate. First spread the tortilla chips on your plate, scattered the onions and tomatoes all over. Topped with the ground beef. Drizzle over our red sauce, then our cheese sauce. I like to put the cabbage on the sides of the plate but feel free to topped it with the onions. Last but not the least, drizzle some condensed milk over the nacho salad. It will certainly give this snack a different taste that your kids will surely love and ask for more.

This is a very easy bonding snack for the whole family especially on weekends while doing some movie marathon. And of course, so much affordable than store bought nachos and dips. Try it for sure you will thank me:)
