Good day!
I didn't expect to cook for today for our lunch because I was not able to go to the market. But I was surprised when one of our relatives gave me a kilo of pork. One kilo of pork is a lot considering there are only three persons in the family to eat (my husband's eldest son is temporarily living with his grandmother and grandfather in the adjacent town).
before I slice and prepare the pork I am thinking of a recipe to cook. My son loves soup so I and my husband decided to cook "Pork Sinigang". Pork Sinigang is one of the favorite dishes here in our country. It is commonly cooked for lunch.
I cut the string beans into smaller strings
I peeled and sliced the Taro into cubes
I just slice the tomatoes into four slices
I forgot to take a photo of the radish before I peeled it (then I sliced it into diagonals)
I just peeled and sliced the onion
I am just going to wash the green chili
Here is the powdered tamarind
Here is the pork (sliced to bite cubes)
