New venue for Monday pickleball plus some Gordon camellias : July 6 2026
It's another grey day. It is school holidays. That means a change in Monday pickleball play. A new location in a suburb I first lived in when I got to Sydney 26 years ago. Had to use the car - 16 minutes vs 48 minutes of train and bus. Use the car
Playing at a different club at a higher standard than I am used to. It sure dragged my play up a few levels. Play the lines. Avoid the middles. Will book to play again next week
Did get a photo on the way back from where I park my car. Camellias against the roofline of a Victorian house - next door to our friend's house.
Steps done - extra 30 minutes play will add the extra for 10k
Cooked Italian meatballs for dinner. Somehow the meatballs were not cooked. OK for me but nor for my wife. Had to fry hers to fully cooked after
Waited for US markets to open. Easily done with some Tour de France. UAE team chasing down the breakaway
