Wiedziałem, że jeżeli nie wyjdę pobiegać rano, to na pewno później nie będę miał okazji. Wyszedłem więc potruchtać inną trasą niż zwykle. Dawno z niej nie korzystałem, dlatego wydawało mi się, że będzie dłuższa, ale z drugiej strony to nawet dobrze, bo miałem niewiele czasu.
*[ENG] I knew that if I didn't go for a run in the morning, I definitely wouldn't get a chance later. So, I went out for a jog on a different route than usual. I hadn't used it in a long time, which is why I thought it would be longer, but on the other hand, that was a good thing because I didn't have much time.
Później miałem w planach wyprawę z ciotkami do Olsztyna. Jechałem po odbiór okularów, a one do lekarza, który przyjmuje na tej samej ulicy, więc zadeklarowałem się, że mogę je zabrać ze sobą. Swoją sprawę załatwiłem dość szybko i bez problemu mogłem poczekać na cioteczki, więc wybrałem się na spacer po okolicy. Dużo się tam zmieniło od czasu, kiedy byłem tam ostatni raz.
[ENG] Later, I had a trip to Olsztyn planned with my aunts. I was going to pick up my glasses, and they had a doctor's appointment on the same street, so I offered to take them with me. I took care of my errand fairly quickly and had no problem waiting for my aunts, so I went for a walk around the neighborhood. A lot has changed there since the last time I visited.
Hala widowiskowo-sportowa Urania przeszła gruntowny remont i doskonale się prezentuje. Jeżeli mnie pamięć nie myli, to tam swoje mecze rozgrywają siatkarze AZS Olsztyn – a przynajmniej tak było za najlepszych czasów tej drużyny, kiedy wielokrotnie sięgali po mistrzostwo Polski, a hala pękała w szwach.
[ENG] The "Urania" sports and entertainment hall has undergone a major renovation and looks excellent. If my memory serves me right, that's where the AZS Olsztyn volleyball players play their matches – at least, that's how it was during the team's glory days, when they won the Polish championship multiple times and the hall was packed to the rafters.
