Hello friends lovers of architecture and design, I wish you an excellent week together with your loved ones, I am happy to share with you my visit to Plaza Siete located on Bolivar Avenue in the city of Maturin, capital of the state of Monagas; this state belongs to the eastern region of the country and stands out for its mountain and plain landscapes; its municipalities have a variety of climates that give it a beautiful relief and various places for adventure tourism and eco tourism, I must say that this city is one of my favorites in the eastern region.
Hola amigos amantes de la arquitectura y el diseño, les deseo una excelente semana en unión de sus seres queridos, me siento feliz de compartir con ustedes mi visita a la plaza Siete ubicada en la avenida Bolívar de la ciudad de Maturín capital del estado Monagas; este estado pertenece a la región oriental del país y destaca por sus paisajes de montaña y llanura; sus municipios poseen una variedad climática que le asignan un hermoso relieve y diversos lugares para realizar turismo de aventura y eco turismo, debo decir que esta ciudad es una de mis favoritas de la región oriental.

Bolivar Avenue and its transversals concentrate most of the commercial activity in it are located important commercial establishments and also important squares, monuments and modern buildings that energize the city, the Seven Square is an important point of reference and meeting where government offices and higher education institutions converge, the most prominent landmark is the Farmatodo franchise, present in the national territory whose typical feature is its cone-shaped roof and blue color, as well as its glass doors.
Se le conoce como la Ciudad Distinta y dos teorías explican el significado de este seudónimo; la número uno se debe a las constantes lluvia que recibe la ciudad, el sol puede estar en su punto máximo de calentamiento y cuando menos lo esperas llueve, lo impresionante es que en poco tiempo las principales calles y avenidas del centro de la ciudad están secas, sin ningún rastro de la lluvia, el sistema de drenajes es muy bueno, la segunda teoría señala que su seudónimo se debe a lo limpio que es la ciudad, una máquina especial para la limpieza es usada para esta labor.
La Avenida Bolívar y sus transversales concentran la mayor parte de la actividad comercial en ella se ubican importantes establecimientos comerciales y también importantes plazas, monumentos y modernas construcciones que dinamizan la ciudad; la plaza Siete es un importante punto de referencia y encuentro donde convergen oficinas gubernamentales e instituciones de educación superior, el punto de referencia más resaltante es la franquicia Farmatodo, presente en el el territorio nacional cuya característica típica es su techo en forma cónica y de color azul, así como sus puertas de vidrio.

According to information from a resident the square was remodeled about eight years ago by the mayor on duty, the number seven is located in a terracotta plate and is decorated with vertical lines of gray, around there are benches and trees that offer shade to rest, the walkways are also terracotta, the design of the square looks fresher and more modern than the previous one, plus the space is wider and there are more trees, It was very exciting to see this square again, it is not as I remembered it but it is still there as a bastion and emblem remembering that every December 7th is celebrated the birthday of the Distinct City and capital of the state of Monagas, which in recent years has had a breakthrough in the area of construction of residential buildings, industrial and commercial centers that are important centers of recreation, fun and entertainment for the family; Also the expansion and remodeling of the main avenues and highways, which facilitates the flow of transportation.
La plaza siete es un importante símbolo de la ciudad y referencia a la fecha de fundación de la ciudad el siete (7) de diciembre, anteriormente el número siete era de concreto armado y de color blanco, con rejas verdes y bancos blancos ubicados en los pasillos, además hermosos jardines y caminerías, para mi sorpresa la plaza fue remodelada y ampliada, el espacio está más libre, lo cual facilita el paso de los visitantes así como puntos para pequeñas reuniones.
De acuerdo a la información de un residente la plaza fue remodelada hace aproximadamente ocho años por el alcalde de turno, el número siete se ubica en una plancha de terracota y está decorado con líneas verticales de color gris, alrededor hay bancos y arboles que ofrecen sombra para descansar, las caminerías son también de terracota, el diseño de la plaza se ve más fresco y moderno que el anterior, además el espacio es más amplio y hay mayor cantidad de arboles, fue muy emocionante ver nuevamente esta plaza, no es como la recordaba pero sigue allí como baluarte y emblema recordando que cada siete de diciembre se celebra el cumpleaños de la Ciudad Distinta y capital del estado Monagas, que en los últimos ha tenido un gran avance en el área de construcción tanto de edificios residenciales, industriales y centros comerciales que constituyen importantes centros de esparcimiento, diversión y entretenimiento para la familia; también la ampliación y remodelación de las principales avenidas y autopistas, lo cual facilita el flujo del transporte.
