Hello, fellow travelers! It’s a pleasure to greet you—I hope you have an excellent and blessed week. October is drawing to a close, bringing us ever closer to Christmas—my favorite time of year, thanks to its beautiful colors and decorations. It’s incredible how quickly the year is flying by! Today, I’d like to share my visit to a recreational area and multi-purpose sports court in the San Luis sector, home to a rather unique, semicircular bridge.
Made of silver-colored iron, the bridge spans a path near the "Laguna de los Patos" (Duck Lagoon), located on the other side of Avenida Universidad. Though small, its unusual shape makes it quite striking. I stumbled upon this spot while walking along the beach; I rarely pass through here, but this time I decided to stop and take it all in. The views were lovely—from the back of the bridge, you can see the beach, a few palm trees, the lagoon flowing beneath the structure, and the trees reflected in the water. The surrounding area is filled with grass, palm trees, ceibas, and smaller trees, all of which complete this beautiful landscape. The bridge connects a long concrete walkway—which begins at Playa San Luis—to the area near the Civil Protection office. From there, the path continues on toward the Cangrejo Azul tourist complex. I’ve always been drawn to this long walkway, which runs for several kilometers right by the beach—it’s the perfect spot for a stroll or a workout. In fact, during my visit, there were several people out exercising and walking along the path. As I took my photos, I admired the beautiful, light-blue sky filled with clouds; what I loved most, however, was the sight of the trees reflected in the water. Afterward, I headed toward the side where the sports court is located, from which you can see a section of the lagoon as it meets the sea.
Blessings!
¡Bendiciones!
