Greetings creative friends and #holozing community, I wish you are enjoying good health and have a great week together with your loved ones, it is a pleasure to share with you the elaboration of a cushion inspired by the water whale, this cute character has become one of my favorites and also my son's, its vibrant blue color and the super eye are definitely striking elements in this great animal of the ocean.
The Whale cushion is approximately fifty (50) centimeters long by thirty (30) centimeters wide and is now my son's favorite to make the eyes I used fuchsia colored buttons and black beads, which I sewed with tapestry thread to secure the whale's eyes.
Saludos amigos creativos y comunidad #holozing, deseo se encuentren disfrutando de buena salud y tengan una excelente semana en unión de sus seres queridos, es un gusto compartir con ustedes la elaboración de un cojín inspirado en la ballena de agua, esta simpático personaje se ha convertido en uno de mis favoritos y también de mi hijo, su color azul vibrante y el súper ojo son definitivamente elementos llamativos en este gran animal del océano.
El cojín Ballena tiene aproximadamente cincuenta (50) centímetros de largo por treinta (30) centímetros de ancho y es ahora el preferido de mi hijo para hacer los ojos usé botones de color fucsia y cuentas de color negro, las cuales cosí con hilo de tapicería para asegurar los ojos de la ballena.

Procedure
I started by making the pattern on recycled paper until I got the desired size, then I marked the body of the whale facing the fabric on the right side, I also marked the horn.
Procedimiento
Inicié haciendo el patrón en papel reciclado hasta obtener el tamaño deseado, luego marqué el cuerpo de la ballena enfrentando la tela por el derecho, también marqué el cuerno.
I sewed the horn using the soap lines as a guide, then flipped and stuffed the horn with wadding and pinned to the top of the back and front pieces of the whale body.
Cosí el cuerno usando como guía las líneas de jaboncillo, luego volteé y rellené el cuerno con guata y sujeté con alfiler en la parte superior de las piezas trasera y delantera del cuerpo de la ballena.
With a straight stitch I sewed the outline of the whale's body, leaving an opening of approximately ten (10) centimeters for turning and stuffing. Once the sewing was finished, I cut the excess fabric and made pins in the curved part and corners.
Con puntada recta cosí el contorno del cuerpo de la ballena, dejando una abertura de aproximadamente diez (10) centímetros para voltear y rellenar, terminada la costura corté el sobrante de tela e hice piquetes en la parte curva y esquinas.
To make the eye I sewed the button and the bead with tapestry thread, with black marker I added three lines around the bead and finally a circle of white paint, so the eyes are ready.
Para hacer el ojo cosí el botón y la cuenta con hilo de tapicería, con marcador negro agregué tres líneas alrededor de la cuenta y finalmente un círculo de pintura blanca, así están listos los ojos.
The last step was to fill the whale with enough wadding to make it padded, then with a hidden stitch I closed the opening and the whale cushion is finished in simple steps.
El último paso fue rellenar la ballena con suficiente guata para que quede acolchada, luego con puntada escondida cerré la abertura y así está terminado el cojín ballena en sencillos pasos.
The whale cushion looks beautiful and I am satisfied with the result, using buttons and beads on the eyes make them more eye-catching, but I think next time I should use a button that is not flat to give more prominence to the eye.
El cojín ballena se ve hermoso y estoy satisfecha con el resultado, el usar botones y cuenta en los ojos los hacen más llamativo, pero creo que en una próxima ocasión debo usar un botón que no sea plano, para darle más realismo al ojo.
