Hello hello, dear friends, happy and blessed Thursday, I wish you are enjoying good health, happy day to the beautiful women of this community that every day inspire us with their beautiful creations, today I share with you the elaboration of some placemats or tablecloth savers with kiwi motifs, they are made in microfiber fabric Choroni and vichy, can be used on both sides or according to the tablecloth of the table, to give more firmness have a peeling in the center, it is a simple project to make, to decorate the dining table.
Hola hola, estimados amigos amante de los hilos feliz y bendecido jueves, deseo se encuentren disfrutando de buena salud, feliz día a las hermosas mujeres de esta comunidad que cada día nos inspiran con sus hermosas creaciones, hoy comparto con ustedes la elaboración de unos individuales o salva mantel con motivos de kiwi, están elaborados en tela microfibra Choroni y vichy, se pueden usar por ambos lados o de acuerdo al mantel de la mesa, para dar más firmeza tienen pelón en el centro, es un proyecto sencillo de hacer, para decorar la mesa del comedor.
I started by cutting 4 rectangles in microfiber and 4 in vichy, 2 of them with rounded ends, I also cut four rectangles of fur.
Inicié cortando 4 rectángulos en microfibra y 4 en vichy, 2 de ellos con las puntas redondeadas, corté también cuatro rectángulos de pelón.
I put the thermo-adhesive liner with the glue side facing the fabric, and glued it with the iron.
Puse el pelón termo adhesivo con la cara de la pega hacia la tela, y pegué con la plancha.
Once I glued the pile, I faced both fabrics back to back and zig zag stitched all the way around to secure both fabrics and prevent them from becoming uneven when I glued the bias binding.
Pegado el pelón, enfrenté ambas telas revés con revés y pasé una costura de zig zag por todo el contorno para asegurar ambas telas y evitar que se desnivelen al momento de pegar el sesgo.
Then I glued the bias along the contour of the placemats with rounded ends, on the other placemats I sewed a hem turning the fabric with kiwi designs to the vichy one to give a different pattern to the placemat, on one side it has a hem and on the other side only one seam. with these simple steps we have ready some beautiful placemats to protect the tablecloth and decorate the table when eating.
Luego pegué el sesgo por el contorno de los individuales con las puntas redondeadas, en los otros individuales cosí un dobladillo volteando la tela con diseños de kiwi hacia la de vichy para dar un modelo diferente al individual, por un lado tiene dobladillo y por el otro solo una costura. con estos sencillos pasos tenemos listos unos hermosos individuales para proteger el mantel y decorar la mesa al momento de comer.
These placemats are a gift for my dear mother, I sewed them with love and patience trying as much as possible to achieve a good finish and most importantly not having to unpick hahaha; since I saw the fabric I liked it, the initial idea was to make a glove and pot holder, then by the design of the kiwi I thought they would look better as placemats and thus be able to appreciate the figure of the kiwi; Sewing this type of linen for the kitchen is simple and requires little time, I was very happy with the result, they were very nice and the fur gives them firmness and rigidity, my mother will be very happy to receive them, I hope to send them soon.
Estos individuales son un obsequio para mi querida madre, los cosí con mucho amor y paciencia tratando en la medida de lo posible lograr un buen acabado y lo más importante no tener que descoser jajaja; desde que vi la tela me gustó, la idea inicial era hacer un guante y agarra ollas , luego por el diseño de los kiwi pensé que se verían mejor como individuales y así poder apreciar las figura de los kiwi; coser este tipo de lencería para la cocina es sencillo y requiere poco tiempo, me sentí muy feliz por el resultado, quedaron muy lindos y el pelón les da firmeza y rigidez, mi madre estará muy feliz al recibirlos, espero hacer el envío pronto.
