Hello everyone, I'm grateful because this year I can run Ramadhan. So much happiness is felt when the month of Ramadan arrives. As a Muslim, the month of Ramadan always brings blessings and goodness to the earth, so I'm always excited to live it.

One of my favorites during Ramadan is being able to make many people happy with my various dishes. I have always loved cooking in Ramadan for my family and loved ones, always sending food as takjil iftar. Surely this will spread warm kindness to those who receive and give. Instantly a feeling of happiness and satisfaction in itself when serving special food when breaking the fast.

Thirst and hunger inevitably envelop us when fasting, so as a reward for all efforts to fast must be there, that's why I always make delicious dishes to break the fast, especially for my family. So, usually we break our fast with water and dates, but sometimes it's not enough, so I make a special dessert almost every day.

The dessert is inspired by a variety of traditional Indonesian cake menus, various types that can be made such as; dumplings, lupis, lemet, compote and many more. Sometimes I don't like buying at the market, there is a trust issue that is rife with the hygiene of various foods being sold, so I always make it myself at home. I'm always helped by my mother-in-law, it's not difficult to do it.

Well, this time I want to make a special dessert, made from ingredients at home, it just so happened that there was 1 piece of dragon fruit that was almost broken. There is also a packet of glutinous rice flour which makes me even more enthusiastic about making Klepon. So, do you know about Klepon? Intrigued by the results? Come on, see the following recipe!

Dragon Fruit Klepon

_{The Recipe}

Ingredients;

• 250 gr glutinous rice flour
• ½ dragon fruit
• 150 gr of grated coconut
• 100 gr palm sugar
• Pinch of salt
• 200 ml of water and 1 liter of water

---

How to make dragon fruit klepon;

• Weigh and set aside in a large bowl of sifted glutinous rice flour, then add a little salt. Stir until the salt is evenly mixed.

• Take ½ piece of dragon fruit, then puree it with a little water. Make sure the dragon fruit is perfectly smooth (you can also use a blender if necessary).

• Pour the dragon fruit juice into a bowl filled with glutinous rice flour, then stir by hand until well blended. Make sure the dough texture is not too runny and fits like the picture below.

• Cut the palm sugar into several parts, or thinly slice the palm sugar so that it is easy to fill it into the dough.

---

• Heat 1 liter of water in a saucepan, bring to a boil. When it boils, reduce the heat.

---

• Form klepon by rotating them over your palms, fill with palm sugar right in the middle of the dough.

---

• Put it in boiling water, wait until the klepon dough floats. The sign that klepon are ripe is when they appear on the surface (float).

---

• Remove the klepon and put it in a bowl filled with cold water.

---

• Mix grated coconut with a little salt, then stir well. Put the cooked klepon over the grated coconut, then cover with grated coconut.

• Dragon Fruit Klepon is ready to be served.
