| Dare to substitute the Hamburger bun for any of these options!
In my daily search to improve my diet and that of my family, I have become concerned about the lack of benefits that cereals have for human beings; in fact, they can be harmful in the long term, limiting our quality of life over the years.
Wheat is one of the cereals that has saved mankind from hunger, but it also harms us and not only people intolerant to gluten, adding that it has for some people more calories than they want to add to their meals in case you want to lose weight.
Since I've been substituting bread for other alternatives, my digestion and energy have improved considerably.
The hamburger is one of the things I ADORE and it would be hard for me to give up, so I was browsing and looking for ideas that could make it even more delicious than it already is and healthier...
Among the options to substitute your hamburger bun and make a "Low Carb" or "Gluten Free" hamburger (which makes it sound very sophisticated), I share with you the following that I like the most:
Pineapple, it gives a really exotic flavor, you chop it into slices and to my preference, I put it in a pan, griddle or grill to remove the acid, it is completely transformed, it becomes sweeter and you perceive flavors that before did not have the same piece of pineapple. You can also use it without cooking.
In case you do not like pineapple, I propose the Eggplant, chop it into slices, add a touch of salt and pepper, pass it through a pan, griddle or grill until it darkens its color and ready.
Spinach or Lettuce, is a more boring option in my point of view, but there are people who do not like any of the above options, so you can use large leafy greens to replace your bread and are much lower in calories than the other options I present.
Sweet potato or sweet potato, you can steam it and then pass it through a pan with or without oil, according to your preference, trying to get large slices of more than half a centimeter but less than one, so that they are thick enough so they do not fall apart but too much.
I invite you to go out of the conventional
I intend to make some of these options for father's day, then I'll show you....
