A while back, I published a few posts about my little neighbors, the sheep; I remember that on one occasion I talked about the animals around me—at that time there was only one—and later I found out it was a little female.
Later on, I talked about them from a descriptive standpoint, focusing on their lifestyle, their characteristics, and the difference between males and females—that the female is called a “oveja,” and the male is called an “ovejo,” but when referring to the family as a whole, they’re called “ovejas.”
This time, I want to talk about them for another reason: it turns out the family has grown—not only because the female had a baby that’s already quite grown, but also because it seems they’ve brought along siblings and uncles and aunts, or something like that.
The truth is that the family of sheep I have as neighbors now has six members, and every morning when I go out to run my errands, I see them grazing in the yard of the little house where they live.
Some are very friendly and come over to show affection, but others prefer to keep their distance and don’t come near the front wall. You can see them in the photos; I don’t know which ones are females and which are males—I just know that the shaggier one is the baby’s mom.

Buenas tardes a todos... bienvenidos a mi blog.
Hace un tiempo publiqué algunos post acerca de mis vecinitos las ovejas; recuerdo que en una oportunidad hablé acerca de los animales de mi entorno, en ese momento era uno solo, y al tiempo supe que era una hembrita.
Tiempo después hablé de ellos desde un punto de vista descriptivo, enfocando su estilo de vida, sus características, la diferencia entre el macho y la hembra, que la hembra era la oveja, y el macho él ovejo, pero que al pluralizar la familia, se les denominaba "ovejas".
En esta oportunidad quiero hablar de ellos por otra razón, y es que resulta que la familia aumentó, no sólo porque la hembra tuvo un bebé que ya está bastante crecidito, sino que parece que se trajeron a los hermanos y tíos, algo así.
Lo cierto es que la familia de las ovejas que tengo de vecinos, tiene ahora 6 miembros, y cada mañana cuando salgo a hacer mis pendientes los veo pastar en el jardín de la pequeña casa donde habitan
Algunos son muy familiares y se acercan a dar muestras de cariño, pero otros prefieren mantenerse distantes y no se acercan a la pared del frente. En las imágenes pueden verlos, no sé cuales son hembras y machos, sólo sé que la más greñudita es la mamá del bebé.
