This week, I resumed running errands in the neighboring city. Since I usually head out early to make the most of the day, I always stop for coffee and a bite to eat at a local café or bakery while the shops are opening up.
I needed to stop by the shop of the technician repairing my mini-laptop; the process had been delayed because the necessary replacement part was hard to find. It was a motherboard component causing the device to shut down frequently. He also performed general maintenance and applied thermal paste to prevent overheating, which had been slowing the system down.
We had agreed that I needed to authorize the repair and sign a contract with the updated quote before proceeding, and that is exactly what I did. After enjoying my coffee and a ham-and-cheese snack, I headed to the technician's shop. I even had to sign the device's screen and the internal parts to document that no other components were being swapped out. The repair was finished yesterday, but I asked to wait until the 15th to pick it up.
I am grateful to God for the steady clients I have in my digital consulting and project development work, especially since the new academic term was just beginning. One of my clients called yesterday; I explained that one of my devices was in the shop and that I was in the process of acquiring a new one. He told me, "Don't worry, I'll cover the cost of picking up the repaired device and we can settle up later, but I urgently need your help with several university assignments."
That’s how we handled it: he picked up the device himself with my authorization, and this morning we held an early meeting to review all the coursework materials for the semester.
It is important for me to get back to my business ventures—not just for financial reasons, but also to keep my mind active and feel productive whenever possible.

Saludos a todos los amantes del café... bienvenidos a mi blog.
Esta semana retomé las diligencias en la ciudad vecina, y como es mi costumbre salir temprano para que el día me rinda, paso siempre a tomar un café y comer algo en algún cafetín o panadería de la zona mientras los establecimientos comerciales van abriendo.
Tenía que pasar por el local del técnico que me está reparando la mini laptop, ya que se había dilatado en hacerlo porque el componente que hay que reemplazar no se encontraba. Se trata de una pieza de la tarjeta madre que era la que provocaba que se apagara tan seguido. De igual manera se le hizo mantenimiento y se colocó la pasta térmica aislante para que no se recalentara, que eso también la estaba poniendo lenta.
Habíamos quedado en que antes de proseguir con la reparación yo debía autorizarlo y firmar un contrato con el nuevo presupuesto, y así se hizo. Después de tomar mi café y degustar un bocadito de jamón y queso, me fui al local del técnico. Aquí hasta la pantalla del equipo tuve que firmar y las piezas internas, para dejar pruebas de que no se estaba reemplazando ningún otro componente. Ayer ya habían finalizado la reparación y yo pedí espera hasta el día 15 para retirarla.
Agradecida con mi Dios de que tengo clientes fijos en mi labor de asesoría y elaboración de proyectos digitales, y me preocupaba que ya estaba iniciando el periodo de clases. Uno de mis clientes me llama ayer y le planteo que uno de los equipos está en reparación, y los planes de adquirir un nuevo equipo estaba en proceso, y él me dice: "Tranquila, yo me encargo de costear el retiro del equipo reparado y después cuadramos todo eso, pero necesito urgente tu ayuda con varios trabajos universitarios".
Así hicimos y él mismo pasó a retirar el equipo con mi autorización, y hoy tuvimos reunión a primera hora para revisar todo el material de trabajo de este semestre.
Para mí es importante retomar alguno de mis emprendimientos no sólo por la necesidad económica sino por la necesidad de mantener mi mente activa y sentirme siempre productiva en la medida de lo posible.
