It was a gathering of the "who is who" in the movie industry. Claire, a young and upcoming actress decided to attend their gala night. She has been hearing about most of these established actors and actresses but she has not had the opportunity to meet them in person. This gala night will afford her the opportunity to meet her role models in the movies industry.
She arranged with a close friend to accompany her to the occasion. And.like every other anticipating audience, she got there with her friend well ahead of time and got a seat in a vintage position.
Soon the actors and actresses started arriving. The MC did a good job to be introducing them one by one as they arrive. However, what turned Claire off was the kind of music they usually play in the interlude. She had expected to hear contemporary songs but that was not to be as they kept playing jazz and blues to entertain the crowd.
Claire was happy however as she finally saw and met her role models. It was a fun night for her as she saw in that gala night shaped her worldview concerning the movie world.
