Hi friends! Today I was inspired by art to bring a different makeup, it was really difficult I did my best to do it as close as possible, but it's incredible, you know?
At first glance there are works that seem very easy, but it is enough to try to realize that it is not like that, the composition, the colors, the shapes, have the spirit and style of that artist and it will never be the same, I was very afraid to do it because I already knew this before, but I also really wanted for a few weeks to pay tribute to this magnificent work by Van Gogh called "Starry night"
Proceso/Process
I confess that I had an idea in mind at the beginning that I had to modify as I went along and that is that what I was thinking of doing in my mind looked spectacular, but once I put all the colors I saw that something did not stand out, so I show you the process …First I covered my eyebrows with a glue stick, I made a sketch of some lines on my face with a black pencil, these lines would be the separation between black spaces and the work of art, I filled in the part where this painting would be painted with a dark blue, I started to paint the largest black part this black part wanted it to be a "broken" effect or something like that, it really didn't turn out as expected but in the end I did like how it looked, I continued painting varying between many brushes, shapes and colors, I used white, blue, black, yellow and each one of them was a different mix of tones since in this work colors can be seen that mix practically with each other, it was difficult for my brain to understand the complexity of this work, but little by little little I was putting together my own "starry night"
As I mentioned, I made a change, since there was a part of black that did not fit in the makeup, so I eliminated it and completed the tree drawn in this scene, applied many strokes of different shades to represent it as similar as possible, I also painted my neck using the same color palette and giving lots of random brushstrokes.
Final
This is how my artistic makeup looks, it was very difficult but fun, I love challenges and being able to pay tribute to great works like this, I hope you liked it, see you soon.
