Hello friends of Foodie Bee Hive, today I'm sharing a delicious recipe I made a few days ago. Due to work, I couldn't upload the recipe. I hope you enjoy this traditional drink from my country.
1 liter of water
1 cup of rice
Cinnamon
8 tablespoons of milk
1 cup of sugar
Vanilla (I forgot to add it to the mix, but it's important to give it more flavor)
Holaaa amigos de foodies bee hive, el d铆a de hoy les traigo una deliciosa receta que hice hace unos d铆as atr谩s, por motivos de trabajo no les hab铆a podido subir la receta, espero les guste esta bebida t铆pica de mi pa铆s.
Ingredientes:
- 1 litro de agua
- 1 taza de arroz
- Canela
- 8 cucharadas de leche
- 1 taza de az煤car
- Vainilla (a mi se me olvid贸 agregar a la mezcla, pero es importante para dar m谩s sabor)
First, in a pot, pour the cup of rice, then the liter of water, or you can add 8 cups of water for every 1 cup of rice, a teaspoon of cinnamon, or if you have a cinnamon stick, even better.
Primero en una olla vertemos la taza de arroz, luego el litro de agua o puedes agregar 8 tazas de agua por una de arroz, una cucharadita de canela o si tienes una rama de canela mejor.
We wait for the rice to cook thoroughly, until it's tender and 90% of the water has disappeared. It should have this texture.
Esperamos a que el arroz se cocine bien, hasta quedar blando y que el agua se haya consumido en un 90%. Nos debe queda como esta textura.
Finally, add the rice, powdered milk, and the cup of sugar to the blender. Don't forget to add vanilla (I forgot, haha! 馃き) and blend. In my case, I had to add a little water from where the rice was cooked so my blender could work, since it's not very powerful. I also had to blend the rice in parts.
Finalmente, agregamos a la licuadora el arroz, la leche en polvo, la taza de az煤car y no olviden agregar vainilla (a m铆 se me olvid贸 jaja 馃き) y licuamos; en mi caso tuve que agregar un poco de agua donde se cocin贸 el arroz para que mi licuadora pudiera andar, ya que no es muy potente, adem谩s tuve que licuar el arroz por partes.
