En esta oportunidad les presento una bebida maravillosa con los ingredientes más sencillos, llenos de nutrientes reparadores para nuestro cuerpo y los beneficios que nos facilitan gracias a la gran madre naturaleza.
Una bebida que suelo tomar en las mañanas, luego de comer o antes de dormir. Entre sus beneficios encontramos: son digestivos, ideal para el resfriado y es un excelente relajante. Las propiedades naturales de cada uno de estos ingredientes se pueden consumir por separado o en conjunto como mi preparación.
El capítulo de hoy se titula: té de malojillo con jengibre y limón.
Este malojillo lo tengo en mi casa y su historia muy bonita. Fue un regalo mi tío Juan, (el cuñado de mi papa).
Èl amaba las plantas, solía tener su balcón florido y con variedad de verdor. En las tardes cuando me provocada le pedía, siempre me regalaba tres ramitas. Hasta que un día me sorprendió regalándome la plata sembrada y cuidada por el, me dijo: -toma mija sé que te gusta mucho-...

In this opportunity I present you a wonderful drink with the simplest ingredients, full of restorative nutrients for our body and the benefits it provides us thanks to the great mother nature.
A drink that I usually drink in the morning, after eating or before going to bed. Among its benefits we find: they are digestive, ideal for colds and is an excellent relaxant. The natural properties of each of these ingredients can be consumed separately or together as my preparation.
Today's chapter is entitled: malojillo tea with ginger and lemon.
I have this malojillo at home and it has a very nice history. It was a gift from my uncle Juan (my dad's brother-in-law).
He loved plants, he used to have his balcony full of flowers and a variety of greenery. In the afternoons when I was provoked, he would always give me three sprigs. Until one day he surprised me by giving me the silver, planted and cared for by him, he said to me: "Take this, mija, I know you like it very much"....

2 ramitas de malojillo
3 rodajas de jengibre
2 rodajas de limón
agua caliente
2 sprigs of malojillo
3 slices of ginger
2 slices of lemon
hot water
En una tetera o en una ollita llenamos de agua a hervor. La tetera silbará cuando esté lista.
In a teapot or pot filled with boiling water. The kettle will whistle when ready.
Le pedimos permiso a la planta de malojillo y tomamos dos de sus ramas.
We asked the malojillo plant for permission and took two of its branches.
Las ramitas las enrollo y a las coloco en mi termo
I roll up the twigs and place them in my thermos.
Al jengibre lo lavamos muy bien sin retirar la piel -queda a preferencia- corto en rebanadas y las coloco en el termo junto al malojillo.
Wash the ginger very well without removing the skin - it is left to preference - cut it into slices and place them in the thermos together with the malojillo.
Al silbar la tetera colocamos el agua en el termo y tapamos hasta que se desprenda la infusión, mezclando los sabores
When the kettle whistles, place the water in the thermos and cover until the infusion is released, mixing the flavors.
Transcurrido el lapso de 15-20 minutos colocamos la rodajas de limón y tapamos nuevamente por unos minutos más.
After 15-20 minutes, add the lemon slices and cover again for a few more minutes.
El té está listo para ser consumido, hago un rezo con la intención que cada gota sea medicina para el amado cuerpo.
The tea is ready to be consumed, I make a prayer with the intention that every drop is medicine for the beloved body.
