This one took me around more than 2 hours just to get to the thumbnail image. Most of the struggle was going back and forth between steps. Whenever I should be doing step 3 I go right ahead on step 5 because it's more convenient but then realizing I should just be doing step 4 instead of step 2 means that I have to redo step 5. If that makes sense to you then that's the gist of this exercise' struggle.
For those that have actually been reading my posts, you would know that I would drop a lot of practice sketches after I worked on them for sometime. Most sketches never make it into my posts and some that do are eventually dropped entirely like this one. It's not that I can't finish them but more along the lines of I know where the direction is I'm heading and the results are the same, going to try out another route and give it another shot.
This blog isn't about showcasing my best works. It's a documentation of progress. I want to study digital art and that's that long term goal I made out for myself. I like that idea that there is a skill set I can market myself with outside being a physician for a living.
My immediate circle of family and friends aren't aware that this blog exists. I plan on telling them once I get to a point where my skills can reach near professional levels. I can pass for a tattoo artist as long as it's on a traditional piece of paper but not for a digital canvas.
If you reached this far reading, thanks for your time.
