Just a few months ago, I was eagerly anticipating the summer days, and now, at least according to the calendar, summer is gone. So, where do we go, and what do we do now, am I right? Well, I guess it's time for the same old routine, and I don't see myself moving from here any time soon.
Although we're close to the end of September, the daytime temperatures are still reminiscent of June, which is fine by me. Strolling down the road in nothing but shorts and t-shirts in the afternoon is something I'm perfectly content with.
I certainly don't miss the rain at all, so no complaints about the unusual temperatures for this month.
I've resumed my visits to the local gym after realizing that commuting 25 km a day to a nearby city isn't a budget-friendly option for my shaky finances. So far, it's been going well. While the new gym doesn't offer a wide array of machinery to choose from, it gets the job done.
This marks my second week there, and I've managed to complete some solid workouts. Additionally, I've incorporated daily cardio into my routine. All the photos in this post were taken during an afternoon power walk up the twisty hill road.
While the leaves are starting to fall, the plants remain vibrantly green around here. As I mentioned earlier, the temperatures are ideal for outdoor activities, including my power walks. Today, we had a maximum of 29 degrees Celsius.
Anyway, I'm feeling a bit more fatigued than usual this evening, partly because I worked on my legs today and also due to the hangover I had until lunchtime. I think I'll hit the hay pretty soon. I need to catch up on a couple of hours of sleep.
