Here is a different perspective on a #wednesdaywalk by 
I know in the past there used to be a hashtag called #lookingup or something to that effect. But this time I am looking down.
First getting off the train they have these bumpy yellow things so you don't slip down onto the tracks.
What is slippery is the train station tile when it gets wet especially in the winter.
Sorry for the blurry turnstyle image. A weird fact, Chicago has the most turnstyles in the world to keep the winter cold out of the buildings.
Now inside the train station building things are a bit more modern as they redid this a few years ago.
Nice and shiny bridge walk flooring.
Now at the end of the bridge we have some cracked marble that is getting redone. Also loads of other commuters are marching along with me.
Outside another turnstyle to the concrete of the city.
A super high traffic bridge with all sorts of gum stuck to it.
A red bike lane and crosswalk at an intersection.
Some diamond plate to act as a transition between building properties.
I wonder why this lone traffic cone is here. I'm surprised a hooligan hasn't thrown it into the river.
More bumpy nonslip things. This time made of iron. These get slippy though especially when wet.
New tile outside a fancily redone financial building. No gum stuck to this one yet...
Super slipper grate especially when it rains. I slipped on one of these once and landed full weight on my wrist. Took ages to finally stop hurting.
Finally in the lobby of my building, nice smooth marble.
A bit of a creaky sounding elevator...
Now the loft industrial look of my floor where they polish the old concrete of the building.
Swanky little lounge in the common area.
Finally in the office. I wonder when the last time the landlord steemvac'd this... Probably never lol.
That's all for now, maybe next time I'll do a looking up walk at all the skyscrapers.
