It's good that Wednesday arrived, which is my favorite day to walk!
But on this day, I like the afternoon better because, after the walk back home, you take a nice bath or relax from the walk or the trip with other things before night falls.
This time I decided to walk relatively close to where I have my house, to a quite renowned place on the outskirts of the main town, which is owned by a very enterprising acquaintance.
That one The place is known as "El Tanque" and although it operates all day, the main activities or attractions are at night, when they offer options for different population tastes. Thus, they have various shows planned for children on Saturdays until a certain time, and from there, and until late in the morning, for young people. Also for the "tempas", as those who are over forty are usually called here, there is a space starting in the afternoon with retro music and a show. Varied with live music with slistas and troubadours, also with period music.
Due to the proximity of that recreational area to my home, on weekend nights, I hear that programming very clearly and I enjoy from my home or my studio the exquisite musical offerings of the soloists and troubadours, as well as humorous varieties.
"El Tanque" is one of the highest quality and systematic recreational options in the village environment.
When I arrived at the place, I was welcomed by the owner of the business, who although it is not the first time that I visited the place, proudly accompanied me on a brief tour of the ranch.
The matrix of the renowned place is an old chalet that "El Flaco" bought a few years ago and that, in addition to being built in the highest place in the northern part of the town, also rests on a tank with thick walls, which served drinking water to part of the population of the town. This artificial container was the property of the owner of the home.
After the tour of the different areas, we sat in an indoor booth, adjacent to the cafeteria, where a group of customers were having fun playing dominoes, alternating with shots of rum and beers.
The booth is very comfortable, as it has two armchairs and a sofa with a wooden coffee table. Around, on walls, decorations with cubist tendencies contain musical allegories. At the top, printed propaganda from the owner's daughter, who is a singer, and other musicians.
Two friends of Flaco joined the conversation, whom he invited with a half bottle of an exquisite painted rum that is fashionable in bars today.
I, in reality, during that part of the visit, was only a passive spectator; Hey, a few years ago I put a limit on drinks.
The atmosphere there is pleasant, and only the music, a little loud, which tends to interrupt conversations, is good. The afternoon was rainy, as they say "Chin chin", with fine and sticky drizzle. The kind that, when prolonged, begins to call for nostalgia and memories.
From my place in the reserve, I could see the viewpoint that they built just above the chalet, from where the visitor, with the naked eye or through binoculars, can see large areas of the territory almost all around.
While I was enjoying the visit, I took some photos to give as a testimony.

VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL
¡Qué bueno que llegó el miércoles, que es mi día preferido para pasear!
Pero de este día, me gusta más la tarde porque, después del paseo de regreso a casa, uno se toma un baño a gusto o se relaja de la caminata o del viaje con otras cuestiones antes de que caiga la noche.
Esta vez decidí pasear relativamente cerca de donde tengo mi casa, a un lugar bastante renombrado en la periferia del poblado cabecera, que es propiedad de un conocido muy emprendedor.
Ese lugar es conocido como "El Tanque" y aunque funciona todo el día, las actividades o atracciones principales son por la noche, en que realizan opciones para los diferentes gustos poblacionales. Así, tienen proyectados espectáculos variados para niños los sábados hasta una hora determinada, y a partir de ahí, y hasta avanzada la madrugada, para los jóvenes. También para los "tempas", como se les suele nombrar aquí a los que ya pasaron los cuarenta, hay un espacio desde por la tarde con música retro y un espectáculo. Variado con música en vivocon slistas y trovadores, también con music de época.
Por la cercanía de esa área recreativa a mi hogar, en las noches de fin de semana, esa programación la escucho con mucha claridad y disfruto desde mi casa o mi estudio las exquisitas ofertas musicales de los solistas y trovadores, además de variedades humorísticas.
"El Tanque" es una de las opciones recreativas de más calidad y sistemáticas del entorno pueblerino.
Cuando llegué al lugar, fui acogido por el dueño del negocio, que aunque no es la primera vez que visito el lugar, orgulloso me acompañó en un breve recorrido por la estancia.
La matriz del renombrado lugar es un antiguo chalet que "el Flaco" compró hace unos años y que, además de estar construido en el lugar más alto de la parte norte del casco urbano, también reposa sobre un tanque de gruesos muros, el cual servía agua potable a parte de la población del poblado. Este envase artificial era propiedad del dueño de la vivienda.
Después del recorrido por las diferentes áreas, nos sentamos en un reservado bajo techo, contiguo a la cafetería, en el cual un grupo de clientes se divertía jugando dominó, alternando con tragos de ron y cervezas.
El reservado es muy confortable, pues tiene dos butacones y un sofá con una mesita de centro de madera. Alrededor, sobre muros y paredes, decoraciones con tendencias cubistas contienen alegorías musicales. En la parte superior, propaganda impresa de la hija del dueño, que es cantante, y de otros músicos.
A la conversación se sumaron dos amigos del Flaco, a quienes invitó con una media botella de un exquisito ron pintado que está de moda en los bares en la actualidad.
Yo, en realidad, en ese tramo de la visita, solo fui un espectador pasivo; oye, hace unos años que le puse límite a las bebidas.
El ambiente allí es agradable, y solo la música, un poco alta, que tiende a interrumpir las conversaciones, se pasa bien. La tarde estaba lluviosa, como se dice "Chin chin", de llovizna fina y pegajosa. De esa que, cuando se prolonga, empieza a llamar a la nostalgia y los recuerdos.
Desde mi lugar en el reservado, podía observar el mirador que construyeron justo encima del chalet, desde donde el visitante, a simple vista o a través de unos prismáticos, puede observar grandes extensiones del territorio casi a la redonda.
Mientras disfrutaba de la visita, fui tomando algunas fotos para regalárselas como testimonio.
