Hello Hello Hivers, Hivians and any other wonderful being who has stumbled onto this!
I am back with another wee stroll in the summer sunshine weather here in the Kingdom of Fife in Scotland, come let's walk the now.
What a cracker of a day. These were all taken between 4pm and 5pm.
I always have that Abbey Road Beatles pic in my head when I see that particular pedestrian crossing.
And one of the football pitches in the park.
Had to include this as in a few minutes Scotland play Brazil. 4-1 I can see on the cards with Scotland taking the opening. Been there before lol!
Rugby was what I played at school and then football outside of it!
My reason for the walk was to geed some of the birds.
A hot day, so what better way for Mark and Madge Mallard to have a wee laze in the sun!
But wait ... Mick comes steeming in .... No way is Mark having any of it!
Meanwhile I was throwing around the food ...
... and doing my best to shoo away the fluffing seagulls...
But look else was out and about, not in his usual spot!
Aye Sammy I am looking at you!!
Time for him to head off to where I normally feed him...
I just love this, sun coming through the leaves, early summer and they are not fully clothed yet!
Sammy's Corner!
This is where he usually comes for his food, and I feed the moorhens that like to live under those bushes!
Gotta have a bonnie wee flower don't you!
No swans in sight! I thought they might be taking refuge from the heat on the island...
They built this walkway last year and even out in a braw wee sign...
The aforementioned ... braw wee sign
Good to see they let the wildflowers grow for once!
See, quite a height on them!
Oh look swans, just not our feathered variety!
But ... they are up there at the other end, and I am not goign that way, so we have a bus to meet!
And there we have it. That is my second and last Wednesday walk in June.
Anyway, have a good one.
