Hello friends i would like to share my home made biryani recipe hope you like and enjoy it

Ingredient

  • Cinnamon
  • Cardamom
  • Cloves
  • Bay leaves
  • areca nut

Fresh chicken with bones in medium size.

Basmati rice

Preparation

Take the rice in a pressure cooker and fill it with water now add 3-4 tablespoon of salt as the rice will absorb the amount of slat required

Keep it on full flame till you see that the rice is 3/4th cooked, one cooked to 3/4 remove the excess water and keep it aside

Now in a spl pour some oil and deep fry the onion and keep it aside.

  • Now in a spl put some ginger, garlic and red chill and saute till it become brown now add chicken to it once the chicken is 1/4 cooked add curd to it

Now close the spl with lid and let the chicken on full flame for 5 minutes

  • Now in a pressure cooker pour some olive oil so that the rice or chicken won't get stick on the bottom

  • Now put 1/4 of the rice at the bottom then over it put 1/4th of the chicken and add the onions that were deep fried and coriander and mint leaves and repeat this process for 3 more times

Note : Once you have formed the four layer, with the help of a fork make some holes in it so that the air is able to pass and the chicken and rice gets ready with the help of vapours in a process called dum. Now cover the lid and keep the pressure cooker on a pan and in low heat let it get dum for 30-45 minutes

Now your chicken biryani is ready to eat
