Mix.Com.my!
SO WHAT IS A MIX.COM.MY?
It is a little shop chain in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia selling some snacks, food and drinks from China, mainly but there are also some from Japan and Korea. It has a few outlets in Kuala Lumpur and I visited their Wangsa Maju branch which is nearer to my son's school after my morning walk.
I am rather fond of food and drinks from China because of their heavier taste, in other words they are more tasty. Besides that they have all sorts of variety and they are extraordinarily attractive to me, especially after I visited China myself many years ago. I remember and think of their tasty food often.
So when this shop is opened nearby, it becomes one of the huge #gems to me, definitely. I don't frequent it a lot, because I am scared I will get out of control hahahah. But yes, the fact is EVERYTIME after I visit it, I can feel happy for days with my loot! ๐คฃ
This week I went in to buy some instant noodle cups for myself and a friend who are going on a short staycation. I wanted to just get some thing out of the usual noodle cups I usually know.
Let's tour the shop a bit!
This is at its entrance. I am not attracted to candies or chewing gums or thank goodness I am "spared".
However dried fruits and junk food like these is my weakness. But yes I still managed to resist the tempation. I gotta focus on the goal.
I went through the drink section again and again and picked 2 bottles of yogurt drinks because I did not want sparkling juice or coffee or tea.
Look at these Minion-themed sparkling juice. THEY LOOK SO CUTE, DON'T THEY?
This snack.....it was not just my favorite but also my husband's after I introduced it to him. I don't even know how to describe it. It is a bit chewy and then it is extra tasty, a bit spicy which I love!
Besides the photos of these different section, there are also aisles selling chips and ice-cream too! I got a bit too engrossed in looking at them that I forgot to snap photos, oops!
After controlling myaelf much, I ended up buying all these!
An instant ramen noodle in soup.
I bought this thicker noodle (้ข็ฎin Chinese) in 2 different flavours - spicy and another in scallion oil. My friend cannot tolerate spicy food.
2 yogurt drinks - peach and strawberry flavoured.
And this grapefruit konjac jelly drink was my absolute happiest find!
