Thanks @brandt!

This will be quite handy.

My hand study. Literally my hand because The Hand is much harder to draw. And since I have only two hands I took a photo because I thought it would be easier to draw from a photo than a live hand model.

Shit.

See how I wrote the topic to the page so that I wouldn't forget what I'm drawing. In the middle of drawing it. That could happen.

I read if you turn the photo or the picture you are drawing from, it could help making something awful not so awful.

At least it's so much easier to twist the photo than my hand. I really don't like to twist my own hand that much.

Hmmm...

Quite educating turning the photo and the picture I was drawing. It actually did help. Who would have guessed that listening to people who've done this before is a wise move.

I can still see some faults in this but after drawing one hand for three hours I simply have to stop now. I hope that next time drawing at least this good, not just avoid drawing a hand entirely by cutting the hand off or smudging it, it will take me less time to draw just one hand. Perhaps 2 hours and 59 minutes.

So when I'm done with this list, the drawing of hand number 31 will take me only two and a half hours... Oh goodie.
