This is the first design in the British Tudor Beasts Series. It follows the success of the 1ST ever 2 oz 10 piece silver bullion series from the Royal Mint- the Queen's Beasts.
Like the Queen's Beasts, the British Tudor Beast Series also contains 2 Troy oz of .9999 pure silver.
The crowned Lion of England is the oldest heraldic beast in English history. It is a traditional symbol of bravery, strength and valour.
The heraldic beasts that were prominent during Henry VIII’s reign is the focus of the Royal Tudor Beast series. These are The Seymour Panther, The Lion of England, The Bull of Clarence, The Tudor Dragon, The Greyhound of Richmond, The Royal Dragon, The Yale of Beaufort, The Seymour Unicorn, The Queen's Panther, and The Queen's Lion.
