2022 South Africa Silver Krugerrand

“I used to say why save money if I'll die tomorrow. I haven’t died yet and I have nothing to survive on”
― Bangambiki Habyarimana, The Great Pearl of Wisdom

Be inspired to save. Choosing to be disciplined in our money and saving rather than spending may not always be the preferred route. Yet saving money can have profound benefits that can empower you today and in the future.

The South African Gold Krugerrand was released as South Africa’s official gold bullion coin in 1967. It was the only gold bullion coin in the market for over 12 years which make it famous worldwide. The gold coin celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017 and commemorating the momentous occasion, the South African Mint has launched the very first the SILVER KRUGERRAND.

The designs on the gold and silver Krugerrands are identical. On the reverse is an image of a beautiful Springbok antelope, name of the coin ‘Krugerrand,’ the year of issue, and the phrase ‘Fynsilwer 1 oz Fine Silver.’ The third President of the South African Republic, Paul Kruger, appears on the obverses of these coins. In fact, it is from his name that the Krugerrand gets its name. On the both sides of Kruger are the words ‘Suid-Afrika’ and ‘South Africa’.

Check out the prices of the Krugerrands from 2017 to 2021.

My savings have indeed grown on the Krugerrands!
