Simons used to be a very nice coworker, working in a small company where everyone gets along with each other very well. that kind of relationship brings good vibes to the work condition thus driving up the sale and revenue for the company.
Simons being the only single employee in the company, works very diligently and everyone loved him for his caring and beautiful attitude. That makes him quickly climb up the ladder in the company chain of command aka promoted.
But things go south when finally he becomes the new manager of the company. everyone was hoping to be led by the old caring and diligent Simons.
But as the proverb says, to see one's true colors just gives him money and power. And that is exactly what happens to Simons after the promotion. He becomes abusive, and his manipulative behavior is finally revealed.
