Jason stood at the mirror in his bedroom and observed himself for complete five minutes without saying a word. He shook his head slowly and then stepped backwards, arms akimbo. Then he slowly whispered to himself "I'm not normal".
How can a normal person goof as he had done few minutes ago. No, "I'm not normal", he muttered to himself yet again.
This was a job offer everyone was actually looking and hoping for. Jason has been jobless for five years now. One day he ran into the CEO of Hesky Holdings, a leading car manufacturing company who turned out to be his late father's bosom friend. The CEO invited Jason for a lunch with him at the exclusive City Restaurant. Jason agreed and failed to table his problems before the man even when the CEO had prompted him to say his problem so that he may help him.
After the luncheon, the CEO gave him a cheque and then took his leave. It was then that it downed on him that he had lost yet another golden opportunity.
Was he bewitched or something? How can he tell his friend that he got a golden opportunity and watch it slip away.
That night he stood in front of the mirror in his bedroom and told himself that "I'm not normal".
This is my entry for today's @daily.prompt: I'm Not Normal
