El día de hoy estuvimos celebrando el día del maestro. En nuestro país se conmemora todos los 15 de enero, sin embargo, en esta oportunidad se tuvo que posponer para este final de mes, donde se pudo coordinar que la mayoría de los agasajados pudiera asistir.
La mañana comenzó desde temprano, donde tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir. Se abrió un espacio para relatar experiencias de vida, el cómo llegamos hasta este momento presente. Luego se abrió paso para un compartir, algunos refrigerios, se cantó a los cumpleañeros del mes y se aprovechó para reír un poco entre anécdotas y algunos chistes.
Al final fuimos convocados al patio central donde nos esperaba una reconocida instructora de baile y terapia, la cual nos puso a bailar a todos para hacer algo de actividad física, sudar un poco y soltar el estrés que en estos días es bastante común en nuestra sociedad.
Es bueno ser reconocidos, aunque sea con pequeños detalles. Lo más importante de la profesión es el reconocimiento de los estudiantes cuando ya son adultos. Cuando te los encuentras en medio de la ciudad, pueden reconocerte y saludarte con afecto. Creo que es lo más valioso que se puede encontrar en esta labor diaria, lamentablemente infravalorada por muchos.

Today we were celebrating the teacher's day. In our country it is commemorated every January 15, however, this time it had to be postponed to the end of the month, where we were able to coordinate that most of the guests could attend.
The morning started early, where we had the opportunity to share. A space was opened to relate life experiences, how we got to this present moment. Then we opened the way for a sharing, some refreshments, we sang to the birthday boys and girls of the month and took the opportunity to laugh a little between anecdotes and some jokes.
At the end we were summoned to the central patio where a renowned dance and therapy instructor was waiting for us, who made us all dance to do some physical activity, sweat a little and let go of the stress that is quite common in our society these days.
It is good to be recognized, even if it is with small details. The most important thing in the profession is the recognition of the students when they are already adults. When you meet them in the middle of the city, they can recognize you and greet you with affection. I think this is the most valuable thing that can be found in this daily work, unfortunately undervalued by many.
