And the journey starts to the west | Red Dead Redemption 2

After completing Horizon Forbidden West, we are back here with Red Dead Redemption 2. I have received countless recommendations to play this game so many times. We are here to enjoy the game and see all the hype.

The introduction to this game is as centimetric as it can get. Every character's introduction and the feeling of the west were pure. You can feel the character dept through their voice acting and animations. I loved how they introduced the character Dutch. Seems caring and calm and is a good leader. The introduction to the combat system was amazing as well, like through storytelling. The environment is dynamic, and it's hard to understand what's interactable and what's not. But the realism and the immersion are way ahead of their time.

Just like any other Rockstar game, you have levels for everything you do in this game. Level progression is also built on the pillar of player focus. You level up respective perks as you do stuff around those. The prologue was super long and very detailed. The environment is the key in the whole prologue section. You are at a loss if you are not eyeing the beautiful mountains in this part of the game. And the story starts off with a foundation of a gang getting their shit together. Finding shelter, food, and workforce. Introduction to a few combat tactics and animal hunting. As I am a keyboard mouse player. It's hard to adjust with the controller.

Good thing we had a few guests in the stream; I had an amazing chat with everyone who dropped in and gave me tips on how to play the game more efficiently. Some visitors are from the EU, and some are from Asia. Good day, it was. I stream mostly to create posts on Peakd, but if new faces show up, It is just a hundred times better as it creates bonding between the player and the community. I love reading people's thoughts in the comment section, and I think the stream becomes more alive.

The looting mechanism of this game is tedious as you would have to watch looting animation, and there is no way to skip it when targeting many loots. It can become a little boring, but the realism feels right. Kudos to the devs for making players feel like they are present in the world itself.

I look forward to playing and learning more about this game as time passes. I already feel like this is going to be worthwhile!
